The project is at a prime location, surrounded by institutional and low-rise buildings. Shivalik Highstreet is a result of the client's progressive vision and an innovative design response by INI. In its prominent location in the IIM-A district, with visibility on all four sides, the building has become an iconic visual reference given its 11-story height and dynamic form. The program targeted retail outlets on the ground floor, along with small & mid- size offices for growing entrepreneurs and professionals, and premium pent-house offices with terrace gardens on the top floor.

Enhanced Business Ambience for a Thriving Commercial Hub

This slim tower of ground plus eleven stories located at a significant proximity to two of Ahmedabad’s busiest roads was envisioned by the developer to offer premium business spaces with globally competitive facilities for the city’s growing tribe of small and medium scale firms. With mostly low-rise structures and important institutional campuses like the IIM-A located in the vicinity, Shivalik High Street stands tall as a prime commercial venue that responds to the needs of the local globally competitive business community.

The design constitutes a ground floor provision for just three niche retail outlets offering an exclusive shopping experience for the city’s elite and eleven floors of small (around 750 sq.ft) and medium size (around 2000 sq.ft) offices in an internationally styled high performance glazed building having state-of-the-art services and facilities. The ample parking space provided at grade in addition to two basements adds value, as does the double height entrance lobby with exquisite décor and the premium penthouse offices with landscaped terraces on the top floor.

Sleek Structural Elegance to Articulate a Modern Style

The building exterior is articulated in the architecture of modern high-rises by using a pervasive glazed façade. The monotony of form, however, is broken by sculpting the structural and façade elements in varying inclinations along the height which gives it a skyward dynamism. When lit up at night from within and without, the venue exudes the intended special energy of a thriving business hub.

Efficient Space Utilization Resulting in an Open Aura

The building footprint occupies just 25% of the ground on site, leaving the remaining space available for a lit up landscaped open court and at grade parking facility. This also helps create the impression of a slim tall tower akin to international business venues. The floors above the ground are accessed by two large elevators and a larger service lift which open out onto lobbies, efficiently serviced and optimally utilized. This leaves the rest of the floor plate available to be apportioned as utilizable office spaces with large exterior faces for light and ventilation.
