We take immense pride in the participation of Saumil Mevada, Director of Architecture & Urban Planning, as a distinguished speaker at the inaugural Urban Design in India Conference at CEPT University in Ahmedabad. Organized by the CEPT Research and Development Foundation, it provided a dynamic platform for some insightful presentations and stimulating conversations delving into the challenges encountered by urban planning practitioners.

Saumil showcased the prestigious Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (SVP) Sports Enclave Project, which is set to become an exceptional international-level integrated sports infrastructure spread across 215 acres, overlooking the Sabarmati River and neighbouring the world's largest cricket stadium. With an aim to be one of the largest contiguous and multi-sport facilities in the country, it will offer venues for 20+ Olympic Games, including athletics, football, aquatics, and numerous other indoor and outdoor sports. This visionary masterplan represents a significant stride towards India's aspiration to bid for the Olympic Games in 2036.
