India Smart Cities Award Contest (ISAC)-2022

INI Team is proud to be a Master Planner & Designer of 900+ acres New Greenfield Rajkot Smart City which has been recognised and awarded as India’s First Platinum Certified Green ADB City by Indian Green Building Council. Atal Sarovar (spanning across 75+ acres) is part of this Smart City Master Plan and is recently awarded in the Water Category by prestigious India Smart Cities Award Contest (ISAC).

Master Plan included many water conservation strategies that included regeneration of existing lakes and water streams, ground water recharging, surface water retention, 24*7 water supply, smart water meters, and SCADA System. Master Plan also increased the green cover, provided pedestrian greenways connecting three lakes resulting in improving the Urban Environment, health & wellbeing of citizens.

The President of India, Hon’ble Smt. Droupadi Murmu recently felicitated the winners in Indore in presence of Shri Hardeep Singh Puri (Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of housing and urban affairs), Shri Manoj Joshi (Secretary. Minister of housing and urban affairs), Shri Kunal Kumar (Joint Secretary & Mission Director smart city mission), Shri Lal Chhandama (Director, Smart city) Shri Kaushal Kishore (Minister of State, Ministry of housing and urban affairs), Shri Bhupendra Singh (Urban Development Minister, Madhya Pradesh). The Award was received by Smt. Naynaben Pedhadiya (Hon’ble Mayor of Rajkot), Shri Anand Patel (Hon’ble Municipal Commissioner of Rajkot) & Shri Chetan Nandani (Dy. Municipal Commissioner of Rajkot)
